趁著黃金於6月底大幅下跌時進場的投資人，可謂獲利頗豐。黃金於6月28日跌破每盎司1200美元後，至本周初已大漲了近20%，突破每盎司1420美元。

選擇權分析師Jon Najarian說：「第二季結束時，黃金嚴重技術性超賣，但此時則已轉為技術性超買。」

他已出脫了半數多頭部位，其餘部位打算於1450至1500美元範圍，或於飛彈射向敘利亞時，賣出。

傳統上，當新聞標題駭人時，應買進黃金與原油。儘管這兩種商品的基本面，與敘利亞幾無關係，但近來原油價格大漲，黃金亦表現不俗。

在黃金大漲之後，投資人的問題不在是何因素推升了黃金走高。敘利亞是黃金上漲因素之一，當然還有其他各種的狀況。

有意買進黃金的投資人，心中的問題在於，敘利亞問題若出現任何決議，無論好壞，是否能提供低點進場的機會。

若美國或聯合國決議攻擊敘利亞，Najarian相信黃金將立即走低。

【綜合報導】敘利亞反對派團體昨晚宣稱，總統阿塞德（Bashar al-Assad）已將數千名囚犯移往重要軍事目標，準備把他們當作對抗西方軍事攻擊的人肉盾牌。

英國《每日郵報》（Daily Mail）今天報導，敘利亞首都大馬士革的消息人士指出，囚犯們正被押上巴士，帶往西方可能攻擊的地點。
