【潘岳／宜蘭報導】宜蘭縣礁溪鄉公所舉辦的百年秋節盪鞦韆比賽，將在19日於礁溪國小登場，今天上午舉行搭建鞦韆架動土典禮，除依習俗請來協天廟關聖帝君等神像現場坐鎮庇佑平安順利，在動工搭建傳統式鞦韆架前，特別找來黃文夫等3名老師傅，教礁溪國小學童搭建鞦韆，將技藝傳承下去。

竟然連一根鐵釘也用不著！學童們看著老師傅以熟練手法，利用老籐輕易就將大小木頭緊緊繫綁在一塊兒，佩服不已。輪到他們自己上陣綑綁時，綁沒幾下就頻頻討救兵，直呼：「好難喔！」

【陸運鋒／台北報導】男子在家中上吊，嚇壞剛起床的家人，今天清晨6時許，台北市文山區發生一起男子上吊身亡案件，1名70多歲男子，被剛起床的家人發現在家中上吊身亡，家人嚇得趕緊報警，警方到達現場後立即封鎖現場，案由警方調查中。
