骨刺生成多時，壓到神經，腰部痠痛不已，右足麻痛，舉步維艱。

求診於神經外科，無奈大夫顧及我年紀已大，不願冒著風險為我開刀治療，但長期服用止痛藥，也因係過敏體質，還曾藥物中毒住院，形成了既無法手術，一刀兩斷，又礙於口服藥有副作用之局面。走投無路之下，只好選擇復健一途，以求紓解一時症狀。

風雨無阻，披星戴月之中，我做了長達3個月的復健治療，每日療程雖僅有1小時，但完成了3項固定功課，一是震波治療，二是熱敷，三是腰部拉筋。除此之外，復健科醫師同時教我一招「壁虎功」，面向牆壁，舉起雙手，緊貼牆面，習做壁虎爬走動作，為時雖然僅15分鐘，做下來也頗覺累人，為了健康只得苦撐，或多或少對減輕病痛有幫助之處。

在復健室進進出出3個月，由於同病相憐，且相處病友都是熟面孔，除交換一些看病經驗談之外，尚且對如何教育子女之心得，也成為談話題材，甚至有時互贈一些彼此喜吃的零食，無意中結交了幾個意味相投的朋友，也誠為病中難得的意外收穫。
