敘利亞政府被指控以化學武器攻擊，美國國會參議院外交委員會台北時間4日凌晨投票表決，以10：7通過授權對敘利亞使用武力。參議院全院表決，預計下週舉行。

據ABC新聞分析，到目前為止，只有21名參議員表示支持或可能支持動武，13名參議員已表示反對，66人未定或未知。

敘利亞阿賽德政府，被控在30個月的衝突中幾次對平民使用化學武器，最近一次是8月21日在大馬士革郊區，進行了大規模的攻擊。

美國軍事懲罰敘利亞案過頭關

【中央社台北5日電】

美國聯邦參議院外交委員會4日通過總統歐巴馬對敘利亞動武案，代表本案通過第一關，可能在下週交付參院全院表決。

外委會以10票同意7票反對1票不表意見，授權美國政府軍事干預敘利亞，為期90天，並禁止美軍派出地面部隊進入敘利亞作戰。

美國宣稱敘利亞政權使用毒氣攻擊，可能以軍事攻擊懲罰敘利亞。
