| 馬總統元旦文告 障權會怒轟

台灣障礙者權益促進會上午批評，總統的元旦文告是事關國家政策的重要談話，卻全程沒有手語翻譯，也沒有逐字字幕，顯示馬總統嚴重忽視聾人與聽障者的資訊權，根本不尊重障礙者，讓大家非常憤怒。
障礙者權益促進會表示，馬政府已經簽署加入兩個國際公約，不論是公民與政治權利公約，還是經濟社會文化權利公約，都宣示每個人有參與公共事務接收資訊的權利，不能區別待遇。促進會引用身心障礙者權益保障法第52條指出，身障法明文規定要使公共資訊無障礙，協助身心障礙者參與社會。
障權會表示，去年11月30日千障行動聯盟和許多障礙團體走上街頭，訴求資訊與文化平權，要求電視新聞及節目要讓障礙者可以使用，政府部門的記者會要有手語翻譯。想不到今第一天就看到馬總統帶頭做了最壞的示範。
台灣障礙者權益促進會說，去年總統就職大典，總統致詞就沒有手語和字幕，障礙團體事後去函抗議，總統府回復下次改進。但今天上午的元旦文告依舊沒有改變，顯然總統府根本沒有把提供無障礙資訊列入舉辦活動的檢核項目。
