【陳嘉恩／台北報導】台北連鎖加盟大展秋季展周五起一連4天在台北世貿一館展出。主辦單位台灣連鎖加盟促進協會指出，這次展覽有約100個連鎖品牌參展，其中食品類和非食品類各半，有3成是新品牌。例如首次參展的平價時尚內衣「波曼妮亞」是從代工廠商轉型主打品牌，目前在中部有4個門市，希望透過加盟拓點，加盟金加上裝潢門檻約120萬元。

丐幫滷味今年引進新品牌「老夫子茶飲」，主打文創和餐飲結合，加盟金原價148萬元，展場優惠30萬元。拉亞漢堡今年則推展場優惠方案，加盟金原價77.9萬元，展場優惠5萬元。

【潘志偉／新北報導】新北市中和區今天下午5時許發生1起墜樓事件，1名大樓警衛報案表示突然聽見巨響，上前查看發現1名男子倒臥在地上。警消到場後緊急將男子送往永和耕莘醫院急救，但患者因傷勢過重，身體多處骨折，急救後仍宣告不治。

警方表示，死者為51歲的郭姓男子，在墜樓地點的13樓頂發現死者留有一包紅色塑膠袋，裡面放有不明藥品，目前已通知家屬到場釐清死因。

【涂建豐／高雄報導】「2013亞太城市高峰會」今日於高雄巨蛋開幕，104個城市代表齊聚一堂，盛況空前。高雄市長陳菊表示，高雄再一次作為台灣的門戶，迎向世界、走向未來，期待未來三天裡，各國代表、專家學者與企業人士展開深入對話，建構世界城市的網絡，開啟城市發展的新契機。
 
2013亞太城市高峰會以「城市經濟新創能—城市挑戰，城市行動」為主軸，聚焦城市新經濟的挑戰與機會、綠色經濟到藍色革命、城市的智慧領導與願景，有86個城市受邀出席、18個城市主動報名，總計有104個城市參與，與會人數超過一千人，是台灣最多國際城市首長、也是最多新城市報名的一屆。
