〔自由時報記者吳清正／綜合報導〕中職外籍裁判布萊恩對義大犀牛代總教練黃煚隆掐喉的事件，在國外也引起討論，美國運動網站bleacher report指出，掐喉動作「太超過」，網友回應則是各有支持者。

撰文者札迪瓦表示，永遠不要去掐別人的喉嚨，那不但危險，而且可能會讓場面變得不可收拾，裁判被總教練用胸部頂撞，可以頂回去，甚至推撞，而不是掐喉，這位裁判的行為，比全世界任何裁判都糟糕許多。

這篇文章引起讀者熱烈討論，David Rosseel表示，這個裁判應該因為攻擊行為入獄，沒有任何人可跑到別人國家去掐人家的喉嚨。David Bluhm表示，裁判應該被禁賽並罰款，Daniel Lopez指出，這是非常不尊重的舉動，野獸才會攻擊喉嚨，人類不該做出這種事。

Brandon Hatt則表示，本來就不能故意和裁判有肢體接觸，他認為裁判已經很自制了，難道他不用保護自己嗎？Sean Luth也認為，裁判做了他需要做的事。不過，其他網友也回應，總教練的動作並沒有很過火，裁判不應該有掐喉的攻擊行為。

《中央社》稍早報導，王院長是在馬來西亞邦喀島的「綠中海度假村」(Pangkor Laut Resort)，為次女王馨淳主持婚禮。綠中海度假村是大馬最頂級的私人度假島嶼，被稱為是「世界最浪漫的海島」，還曾被票選為全球第3的島嶼度假觀光勝地。此處除了風景優美，更重要的是隱秘性極佳，只有少數專機、直升機或遊艇能從吉隆坡、新加坡等地前往。就連已故的「3大男高音」之一的聲樂家帕華洛帝(Luciano Pavarotti)，都曾受邀在此演唱，並曾盛讚此處：「當這上天賜與凡間的美麗，天堂出現在我眼前，我的眼淚幾乎奪眶而出。」這段話被印在度假村宣傳手冊中。
