| 日本成功發射新火箭

日本今天早上成功地發射了一枚新式火箭，希望能發展出更便宜、更有效率的方式將人造衛星送上太空。
這枚三節火箭今天載運太空望遠鏡，從日本南部「九州」鹿兒島的太空中心發射升空；上個月，當局在預定要發射升空前19秒，因為電腦出現故障，因此放棄發射。
目前，H2A仍是日本主要的火箭，但日本官員希望，新式的火箭在費用上能夠更節約；同時，在國際上更有競爭力。

| 天然災害臨工計畫 申請延至9月18日

【王志弘／台南市報導】 雲嘉南區就業服務中心因應康芮風災，核定通過15個天然災害臨工計畫，共釋出1,362個工作機會，職缺以協助災後重建、環境清掃等工作內容為主，發給臨時工作津貼每人每小時109元，工作時間1個月，每月最高可申請176小時。
就服中心指出，該措施原訂9月12日截止，但考量各單位開出受災、農損等證明延遲，故延至18日。有意願的受災失業民眾可攜帶「身分證」、「印章」、「受災證明」，並填寫「臨工申請書」、「查詢勞保同意書」及「無工作切結書」等資料即可辦理登記。
詳情可上雲嘉南區就服中心網站http://tnesa.evta.gov.tw查詢，或至雲嘉南地區各就業服務站(臺)詢問。
