【郭美瑜／台北報導】台北捷運公司上午宣布，貓空纜車因山區持續強風，目前停駛，今營運時間視天候狀況而定，旅客暫勿前往搭乘，貓纜網站及捷運各車站已公告，營運時間另行通知。

| 天兔中心出現「雙眼牆」 強度達極限

【張勵德／台北報導】強颱天兔是近年少見的超強颱風，根據氣象局雷達觀測顯示，從昨晚開始天兔颱風已逐漸出現「雙眼牆」的情況。氣象局預報中心課長陳怡良說，颱風出現雙眼牆現象代表強度已經達到極致，過去統計85%在未來24小時內會逐漸減弱，未來再發展空間有限。
中央大學大氣系兼任副教授吳德榮表示，雖出現雙眼牆現象代表颱風強度達到極限，但在外眼不斷置換原先的颱風中心的過程，由於颱風中心不斷重組，也會使得颱風減弱的速度會變慢，並可能使颱風移動時擺盪加劇，中心不排除更靠近台灣陸地。
吳德榮強調，天兔颱風通過巴士海峽過程，受到台灣及呂宋島陸地「夾擊」，強度會逐漸減弱，但因出現雙眼牆的情況，使得天兔減弱幅度有限，相對來說侵襲台灣過程的風雨還是不小，民眾要特別小心。
