【劉智維／高雄報導】高雄市旗山區一棟二樓透天民宅，下午五時許突然冒出濃煙，消防隊員獲報趕往現場時，民宅二樓已陷入一片火海，火舌不斷從窗戶冒出，消防隊員射水搶救約半小時，火勢才告熄滅。

李姓屋主向警方表示，他與妻子長期居住在外，家中僅剩母親獨住，今日他與妻子返家，本打算留在家中過夜，但下午出門買東西返家時發現屋子竄出濃煙，所幸母親及時逃出屋外，詳細起火原因則仍待火場鑑識人員調查。

【汪智博／台東報導】強颱天兔發威，造成台9線南迴公路422及430公里等路段分別有山水沖刷土石掩沒路面，大武朝庸橋一度因山洪爆發逼進橋面，鄉公所緊急派遣怪手疏濬，所幸亦無其他災情傳出。

此外，公路總局表示，台9線407公里台東香蘭至471公里屏東新路段，因沿途多處土石流及坍方封路搶修，雖已搶通，但再行預警性封閉，預計22日8時開放通行。

南管音樂張鴻明藝師為國家指定重要傳統藝術保存者，今年7/26辭世，享壽95歲，9/21上午賴清德市長前往台南市殯儀館景行廳頒贈表揚狀，由張師母代為接受表揚。

賴市長表示，張鴻明老師雖已離世，然「哲人日已遠，典型在夙昔」，其一生的風範事蹟，將保留在台灣的南管史冊中，世代永傳下去、生生不息。

賴市長表示，告別式場上發生一件非常的奇妙的事情，就是有一隻鳥棲息在會場上空中，這是他擔任立委、市長以來，近20年期間至殯儀館參加公祭無數次，第一次遇到這種情形，應該是張老師有所感應。

張鴻明老師2012年11月發現腦部栓塞性中風及大腸癌病變，配偶雖來台貼身照顧，但子女為中國國籍，無法長期來台灣實際關懷照顧生活起居，只能兩老長期居住於老人養護中心。

2013年2月春，農曆年節前，賴市長亦曾赴養護中心探視人間國寶，致贈醫療慰問金，並由張鴻明老師及南聲社員共同獻唱同歡。
