| 市場流失 黑莓同意以47億美元讓售財團

彭博社報導，黑莓公司(BlackBerry Ltd.)在數年來市場流失給蘋果(Apple Inc.)iPhone、和谷歌(Google Inc.)Android作業系統後，已與公司最大股東為首的集團，達成以47億美元讓售的暫定協議。
根據23日的一項聲明，以楓信金融控股公司(Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited)為首的集團，將出價每股9美元現金—比黑莓上週收盤高出3.1%的價位進行收購。該財團正尋求融資，並須經適當評鑑和進一步協商。
一度在市場領先的黑莓，因新作業系統未能吸引用戶回籠，被迫在今年尋求併購。
未來6週，由楓信金融控股為首的集團，將審查這家手機大廠評鑑，同時黑莓執行長海恩斯(Thorsten Heins)和特別董事委員會，將尋求是否有任何替代性建議。
楓信金融控股執行長、加拿大億萬富豪沃薩(PremWatsa)在聲明中指出，「這項交易將對黑莓、其顧客、電信業者和員工，開放一個新的私有化篇章。」
他說，「我們能傳遞給股東立即價值，同時持續執行一家私人企業長期策略，將營運重心放在傳遞全球黑莓客戶優異且安全的企業解決方案。」
黑莓上週表示，將裁員4500人，而且未售出的Z10手機庫存帳面價值減記最高達9.6億美元。黑莓預期將公布6年以來最疲弱的銷售報告。
黑莓23日在美股上漲1.1%收8.82美元。
