因捲入關說風波而遭開除黨籍、隨後步入訴訟的立法院長王金平，今（1）日發表「等待黎明，迎向藍天」公開聲明指出，今天是他被撤銷黨籍後的第20天，根據國民黨規定，這是提出黨內申訴的最後期限，但他認為涉及政府行政部門的人證、物證，是黨內體制難以精確調查的，如果沒調查好，國民黨又將被外界非議，因此他決定不提黨內申訴，繼續走司法救濟途徑。

立法院長王金平遭特偵組指控為柯建銘案關說、9月11日被國民黨考紀會撤銷黨籍後，13日台北地院裁定假處分獲准，讓他暫保國民黨員資格，而國民黨對此雖提抗告，昨天卻被合議庭裁定駁回，國民黨短期內會再抗告。

針對這一連串風波，王金平今天發布聲明，表示依照國民黨規定，今天是提起黨內申訴的最後期限，但若他真的遵循黨內體制向廉能會申訴，黨內體制恐怕不易取得涉及政府行政部門的相關人證、物證，如果沒有採證，審議過程又將遭外界非議，對國民黨造成傷害。

王金平基於以上理由宣布，他決定繼續走司法程序尋求救濟，不在黨內提出申訴，避免造成黨內紛爭和社會動盪，並期待政局早日恢復平靜，以國計民生為重。

此外，王金平也在聲明稿中宣稱自己隨時可以離開職務，無所戀棧，只是不能接受特偵組以違法監聽的片面之詞、越權報告的手段，把台灣多年來被各國肯定的憲政秩序都破壞殆盡，而且這次的關說事件根本是子虛烏有，他已多次澄清，相關人員也都否認。

而王金平在聲明稿中憶及9月11日被撤銷黨籍時，字裡行間似乎委屈難平，表示考紀會是以「最快的速度」運作，更在國民黨中央黨部大門口張貼公告，讓他情何以堪；聲明稿的最後，王金平則署名「中國國民黨永久黨員」。
