| 大甲鐵路警所與社團結合辦捐血 捲袖民眾踴躍大排長龍

國內血庫血袋時常缺貨。致鐵路局大甲派出所結合大甲獅子會合辦「捐血一袋、救人一命活動」，二日上午假大甲火車站廣場舉辦，民眾響應熱烈下，一口氣抽得10萬餘ｃｃ血液入庫。
鐵路大甲派出所所長黃國表示，捐血一袋救人一命之行動，是一項善舉，公家單位也有義務配合施行，致派出所二日首次與大甲獅子會合作辦捐血活動，每位捐血者都可獲子會贈營養餐點之外，派出所也贈一只打造精緻的紀念車票。
二日上午9時捐血車停在大甲火車站前，民眾不約而同的陸續到達添表捐血，車外時出現大排長龍熱況，使得捐血工作人員中午都騰不出時間休息吃飯，站前民眾捐血之踴躍度實在不輸人。
大甲獅子會長吳甲寅對這次的捐血活動十分重視，率領十多位幹部會員與鐵路志工聯合，從上午8點30在現場熱誠服務捐血民眾，填資料、奉茶、贈送紀念品等，直到下午，捐血人數達到200多袋，抽得10多萬CC鮮血。
黃國忠表示；捐血救人是一項善舉，一袋鮮血確實可救到一個人的寶貴生命、也是參與社會公益最基本也最簡單的行動，國內經常血液不足而告急，希望大家一起來參與這項助人又利己的捐血運動。
