| 鄭成功節展西拉雅文物 南市議員斥荒謬

文化局在鄭成功文物館展出西拉雅文化特展，來紀念西拉雅族的仇人，被市議員郭國文斥為荒謬。郭國文認為文化局此舉，對西拉雅族來說是不敬與諷刺，要求文化局長葉澤山在西拉雅族夜祭時，向守護神阿立祖道歉。
文化局於2013鄭成功祭典暨開臺352週年系列活動中，在鄭成功文物館展出「蔦瞰西拉雅－從蔦松文化到西拉雅」，介紹從蔦松文化到西拉雅族所歷經的文化變遷過程，呼應當代西拉雅族群的復振運動。市議員郭國文斥說，「這是一個荒謬的特展」。
郭國文表示，據文獻資料指出，鄭成功是西拉雅族的侵略者，1661年，鄭成功取代荷蘭人，占領西拉雅族，包圍「台窩灣(Taouwan)社」（今台南安平），見男便殺，見女便搶，放火燒村，燬屍滅跡，少數倖存的西拉雅社衆，被迫往深山逃匿。文化局卻在鄭成功文物館，展出西拉雅文化特展，來紀念西拉雅族的仇人，對西拉雅族來說是一大諷刺。
郭國文除要求文化局長葉澤山於西拉雅族夜祭時，向阿立祖懺悔道歉，並要求文化局儘快將鄭成功文化館，改為台南城市歷史館，避免這種不適當的展出。

| 雙十國慶例假日 中市清潔隊停收垃圾2天

臺中市政府環境保護局表示，今年10月10日國慶日清潔人員依規定放假，垃圾停收1日，另外10月9日因為是清潔隊例假日也是放假一天，從11日以後開始正常清運垃圾。
臺中市環保局公布國慶日前後也就是10月9到12日，各區清潔隊垃圾收運時間如下：一、10月9日（星期三）為清潔隊例假日，停止垃圾收運。二、10月10日 (星期四) 國慶日放假日，停止垃圾收運。三、10月11、12日 (星期五、六)， 正常收運垃圾並配合。
臺中市環保局呼籲民眾配合各區清潔隊垃圾收運日期及各收運點到站時段排出垃圾，共同維護環境整潔打造清淨家園。
