【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】早上醒來想喝杯咖啡，再也不用走到水壺旁煮水。

號稱全球首款Wi-Fi煮水壺，讓使用者在被窩裡就能用智慧手機App遙控煮水，還可設定水溫80℃泡茶，或95℃煮咖啡，另有保溫、防乾燒等功能。煮水壺前天在網路開賣，售價99.99英鎊（約4714元台幣）。

【簡嘉宏╱綜合外電報導】中國媒體披露，2013年諾貝爾醫學獎得主之一的德國科學家蘇德霍夫（Thomas Sudhof）妻子陳路為江蘇無錫人，也是位中國科學家。
 
陳路6年前與蘇德霍夫相識，隨後步入禮堂，目前育有一對子女。諾貝爾醫學獎宣佈當晚，蘇德霍夫正在西班牙，是家中的陳路率先接到諾貝爾委員會的通知電話，讓她感到既驚訝又興奮，但她表示獲獎不會對兩人的生活造成影響。
 
現年42歲的陳路在大學時主修生物系，畢業後她赴美留學，1998年獲得南加大學博士學位，成為神經、分子與細胞生物學專家，現為加州大學柏克萊分校神經、分子與細胞生物學的副教授。2005年9月，陳路還曾獲得美國麥克阿瑟基金會天才獎，成為近年得到該獎項的第二位華裔女性科學家。
