| 港天文台：菲律賓中部六點二地震

繼上午發生芮氏規模7.2強震之後，香港天文台下午四點四十三分，又偵測出菲律賓中部發生一起規模六點二的地震。震央在宿霧南方九十公里。

| 菲地震85死

菲律賓中部今天的強震，目前知道有八十五人死亡，一百六十多人受傷。
當地警局局長說，震央所在的「薄荷省」有六十九人罹難。
菲律賓「火山地震局」說，早上的這起規模七點二的地震，威力相當於三十二顆投在廣島的原子彈。早上八點十二分的主震以後七個小時，一共有兩百四十起餘震，規模最強的達到四點八。
「薄荷省」長齊阿托說，「薄荷省」全省都受到地震衝擊，目前還在調查、統計傷亡以及損害情形。
