| 涂醒哲參選市長 願當嘉義CEO

台灣嘉義社社長涂醒哲今天早上在市議員王美惠、蔡文旭、陳幸枝、蔡榮豐陪同下宣布投入下屆嘉義市長選戰，爭取民進黨市長候選人提名。他表示，嘉義市是民主聖地，將推動公民參與，以市民提案、專家協助、全民公決模式，「全民做市長，我做CEO」。
向來強調「民眾支持、黨內徵招」就參選的涂醒哲，為何今天正式公開表態？他說，已數度向黨中央表明心意，支持者著急焦慮萬分，但仍未有明確消息。他今天表態，給支持者一個交代，也期待黨中央徵召，年底前，讓市長候選人選明朗化。今年8月迄今，他拜會校長與專家學者、主持廣播節目、參加會議與各婚喪喜慶，勤跑基層，聽取各方意見，「不只是做一個市長候選人的準備，而是做一個市長的準備」。

| 塑化劑求償78億 判賠120多萬

前年5月，昱伸、賓漢等公司將塑化劑加入起雲劑中，並販售給統一、百晟等公司，波及許多食品，引發塑毒風暴，消基會去年二月決定出面替消費者提起團體訴訟，受理五百多位消費者，向這些公司求償高達78億的金額；今天新北地院針對此案宣判，最後只有18家公司總共需賠償約一百二十多萬；據了解，是因為法院只針對消費者購買商品損失部分做賠償，而沒有針對之後可能影發健康影響的層面判定賠償金額，才讓判決金額和求償金額相差這麼多。（李書璇報導）
前年爆發的塑化劑風暴，讓全民對食品安全產生疑慮，影響社會甚鉅；去年3月由消基會提出團體訴訟，接受568名消費者委託，對涉案的昱伸、賓漢及統一等三十多家公司，求償78億元，也是消基會有史以來求償金額最多的團體訴訟。而新北地院17號上午十一點宣判，昱伸、賓漢、統一等18家公司僅需賠償120萬餘元，可以說和求償金額相去甚遠。
據了解，法院只針對消費者購買商品損失部分作出賠償，沒有針對消費者將塑化劑吃下肚後，可能引發的健康問題部分賠償，因此判決金額才會和求償金額差這個多，消基會的代表當庭怒吼不公平，也決定要再繼續上訴。
