【吳家翔／台北報導】香港發起「讓愛與和平佔領中環」運動，目標爭取2017年普選特首。倒扁紅衫軍總指揮施明德今說，從年初開始，已有好幾波香港人來找他，就社會抗爭運動的領導經驗與台灣過去爭取民主直選的經驗，交換意見，經過頻繁交流後，他決定邀請佔中運動代表人士來台，並共同召開記者會，說明具體合作計畫。

施明德說，他過去認為港人是「過客」和「經濟動物」，只會賺錢，但現在卻積極爭取民主，香港人已經變了，「他們真的感動我」，施強調，所有民主化與自由化都必發生於本土，港人自己站起來，這是運動成功與否最重要的關鍵。

由於明年是香港回歸中國17週年，明年初開始，每個月都會有17個人去執行佔中環運動。施明德表示，全世界爭取民主過程中，有人願意去坐牢，這個運動就會成功，若怕死怕被抓，不會成功，來拜會他的香港人紛紛表達願坐牢的意願，「讓我的眼眶紅起來」。

施明德指出，他不去中國，1997年香港回歸中國後也不去香港，1999年後則不去澳門，最主要是他反戰，因為飛彈對準台灣，「去沒有意思」。他強調，雖然支持香港民主化不等於反中，但他已做好被第3波抹黑的心理準備；第一次他被抹黑是美麗島事件被醜化，第2次則是反貪腐時，扁政府全面醜化與栽贓他，這次則將面臨北京政府的抹黑攻擊。

【陸運鋒／台北報導】警鈴大作！知名饒河觀光夜市今天凌晨0時許驚傳火警，台北市消防局獲報後，立即趕往現場救援，到場發現公寓5樓冒出濃煙立即佈線搶救，上樓搜救時，發現大樓內1名年約80歲的男子不良於行，趕緊將該男搶救下樓，所幸男子並無大礙。

鄰居表示，當時聽到警鈴大作，屋主奪門而出大喊，我家臥室在冒煙，鄰居趕緊將滅火器借給屋主滅火，但是火勢仍無法控制，警消到場後順利將火勢撲滅，警消表示，初步查看燃燒客廳及臥室約10坪，詳細起火原因仍有待調查。
