【周恩旭／綜合報導】莎拉潔西卡派克（Sarah Jessica Parker）昨日穿著Michael Kors戰勝飢餓T恤現身紐約街頭，以行動表示對世界糧食日的支持。
為了解決全球近 8.7 億人飽受營養不良問題，聯合國糧食及農業組織創立了世界糧食日，每年有150多個國家舉辦紀念活動，希望引起社會各界深思貧窮和飢餓等深層問題。Michael Kors為提升世界糧食日的關注度，因而發起了「戰勝飢餓WATCH HUNGER STOP」活動T恤聲援抗擊飢餓。

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】美國各大社群網路這幾天瘋狂轉貼一個小故事。在一家餐廳裡，一名男子買單時在信用卡與帳單中間夾了一張紙條給侍者，上面男子寫著「幫我個忙，把隔壁桌的帳也一起結了，一定有什麼人被診斷出什麼令人絕望的病痛。先別告訴她們」。

這名侍者事後將這張紙條拍照，上傳到自己的社群網路《Reddit》頁面，並描述當晚的情形。「這位男士整晚都一個人，他很客氣，也常和我們說說笑笑。隔壁桌的一對母女原本沒什麼異狀，但女兒接了一通電話後，兩人就開始哭泣」，我也不知道發生了什麼事，直到男子要求買單，並在帳單和他的信用卡之間夾了這張紙條，「我對人性的信念，被重新啟動了」。

侍者將兩桌的金額合併後，男子爽快地簽了字離開。「他走後，我告訴那對母女中的母親，她們的帳單已經有人付過了，她十分驚訝，並表示出她的感激，我也十分感激那位男子。這真是個美好的夜晚。」
