（中央社記者韓婷婷台北25日電）針對近來引起爭議的棉籽油，各大食品廠紛紛展開自清動作。知名冰淇淋大廠哈根達斯指出，精煉食用棉籽油無害健康在全世界廣泛使用。

針對媒體報導一款比利時巧克力冰淇淋含有棉籽油，哈根達斯聲明表示，精煉食用棉籽油無害健康，在全世界廣泛使用。

哈根達斯表示，所有產品中僅有一款比利時巧克力冰淇淋中的巧克力碎塊中含有微量棉花籽油。此產品是百分之百自法國原裝進口，其巧克力碎塊中的棉花籽油為經精煉的食用棉花籽油，對人體無害，符合歐盟標準，消費者可以安心食用。

哈根達斯在聲明中指出，經精煉的食用棉花籽油在全球各地的民眾烹飪和食品行業中被廣泛使用。台灣衛生署衛生福利部食品藥物管理署於2013年10月23日網站公告中也再次強調，精煉棉籽油在世界各國均為可食用之植物油。經精煉加工的食用棉籽油，可去除存在於棉籽中之棉籽酚，對人體無害。

除了哈根達斯大篇幅刊登廣告自清外，台灣區植物油製煉工業同業公會13家會員廠，市占率8成，也在平面媒體刊登半版廣告發表聲明，支持政府行動，同時也絕對遵守食品衛生管理法規定，所有成品在原物料成分標示上也都標示、業者全面自清自律，被衛福部視為切結行為。

雖然有不少油品業者、甚至食品業者都表示，精煉過的棉籽油，只要不含棉酚其實不是毒油，只是較劣等的油，是產品標示不實的問題。但就一般民眾而言，擔心的是棉酚的檢測是否真正落實？
