內情人士：谷歌將加碼投資芬蘭資料中心 金額達1.5億歐元

路透社報導，內情人士昨 (24) 日指出，Google ( (US-GOOG) ) 有意加碼投資位在芬蘭的資料中心。

目前 Google 在芬蘭 Hamina 所投資的資料中心，原為一家老造紙廠 Stora Enso，並利用海水冷卻系統來降溫伺服器等重要設備，該造紙廠於 2009 年被谷歌所買下。根據 8 月 12 日 Google 所發表的聲明表示，該資料中心最初投資 2 億歐元，今年 8 月另加碼 1.5 億歐元。

內情人士表示，Google 可能將在 11 月宣布再度加碼投資計劃，目前細節部分尚未明朗。而芬蘭政府已經證實，總理卡泰寧 (Jyrki Katinen) 將於 11 月 4 日出席位在 Hamina 的活動。

芬蘭與其他北歐國家因該地區有大量水力發電系統，且氣候較為寒冷，可節省大量冷卻成本，所以一直都是設立資料中心的熱門位置。

買下芬蘭手機大廠諾基亞 (Nokia)( (US-NOK) ) 的微軟 (Microsoft)( (US-MSFT) ) 也表示，將會在芬蘭投資 2.5 億美元，設立新資料中心。

【林海／台北報導】國內食品安全頻出問題，頂新集團董事長魏應交呼籲，只要標示清楚，大家要相信國內還是有能力生產好的油品，才不會「全民皆輸」。
 
魏應交進一步分析，其實棉籽油在精鍊過後，就已經不含棉酚，並且是穩定的食用油，因此不要污名化，「沒有檢測出來不代表不含」的說法並不合理，這是有國家標準的，「現在國內的問題是廠商標示不清。」
 
魏應交呼籲，不要因為這次的單一事件而影響消費者信心，大家要相信，國內還是有很多有良心的食品廠商，也都有能力生產好的油品。
 
不過，頂新國際集團董事長魏應行仍語重心長指出，國內薪資結構長期沒調整，導致民眾對於物價敏感，因此夜市經濟、路邊經濟盛行，這些都是食品安全的隱患。
