| 父母禁用臉書 印度少女上吊亡

青少年耽溺於社群網站，鬧出人命。印度一名17歲少女因為父母不准她上臉書（Facebook），因此選擇上吊自殺抗議。
住在馬哈拉什特拉邦帕爾巴尼的艾絲瓦爾雅.達希瓦（Aiswarya Dahiwal），在一所學院就讀。她23日想上臉書遭到父母禁止，父母說她花太多時間和朋友講手機聊天，並希望她把注意力擺在學校課業上，不要老是上網掛在臉書上。
艾絲瓦爾雅和爸媽爭執過後回到房間，24日清晨被父母發現上吊自殺死亡。她在房內留下字條說，受父母限制感覺遭到軟禁：「上臉書真有那麼糟糕嗎？我沒辦法待在限制這麼多的家裡，沒有臉書我活不下去。」
艾絲瓦爾雅的父親接受媒體訪問時說，家人大受震驚，他們只希望她多專注課業，無法想像她會採取這樣殘酷的方式。警方表示，她的雙親就像一般家長一樣，害怕孩子走偏，沒想到她會因此結束自己的生命。
據媒體報導，臉書是印度青少年最偏愛的溝通橋樑，甚至超過手機。印度的臉書使用人口，預估到年底前會突破2億人。

| 中華職棒／林英傑「滑了一下」 亂了陣腳

義大犀牛林英傑26日總冠軍賽首戰，只投0.2局被擊出3支安打，失3分，吞敗投，在中華職棒的總冠軍戰吞下5連敗，總教練曾智偵說「7局下林英傑的投手犯規，是此戰勝敗的很大關鍵」。
林英傑季賽對獅隊表現很好，出賽11場，戰績4勝2敗、防禦率3.23，而且他對獅隊幾名左打的成績都很好，曾智偵表示「林英傑一上場就三振左打的鄧志偉」，雖然接下來被高志綱擊出安打，不過曾總還是對林英傑很十分有信心，只是沒想到林英傑會投手犯規。
當時林英傑右腳跨出去重心不穩差點跌倒，形成投手犯規，這種情形在棒球場上相當少見，曾總認為這個投手犯規對戰局的影響相當大，林英傑也覺得是，他說「就是滑了一下而已」，但就是這個投手犯規，讓林英傑亂了陣腳。
獅隊唐肇廷季賽對林英傑10打數沒安打，亂了陣腳的林英傑，讓唐肇廷打出安打，接下來林志祥打出高飛犧牲打，打回超前的第3分，郭岱琦再敲安打，讓獅隊取得4比2領先，林英傑退場。
林英傑退場後，犀牛連換陳煥揚、林晨樺、許文錚都壓不住獅隊的打擊火力，讓獅隊在7局下一口氣攻得8分，奠定勝基。
林英傑此戰「投手犯規」影響戰局，讓曾總始料未及，不過曾總還是對林英傑有信心，他說「仍會讓林英傑擔任中繼投手，在重要時刻上場」。
