| 為夢想快樂打球 淑薇等到了

謝淑薇與彭帥昨日攜手奪得WTA年終錦標賽女雙后冠，謝淑薇父親謝子龍得知消息後開心表示：「淑薇過去都背負著弟妹重擔在外地奮戰，如今她終於可以為自己的夢想快樂打球了！」
謝子龍說，淑薇如今已經27歲了，她從年輕時即成為弟妹表率，因此她肩上擔子比任何人都來得重，也因此曾陷入低潮。不過，隨著弟妹們逐漸長大，她不需要再那麼勞心勞累，勇敢的在國際舞台上替個人也為國家爭取榮耀。
謝子龍表示，謝淑薇贏得年終錦標賽冠軍後，預定給自己放一個長假，直到年底都不會參加任何比賽了，也就是要等到明年澳網公開賽前，才會再度重拾球拍展開遠征之旅。
謝淑薇的弟弟「A鵬」謝政鵬則難以置信的說：「這是真的嗎（指謝淑薇奪冠）？」他今年因受傷休息了好長一段時間，能看到老姐拿到好成績，甚至在年終賽奪冠真的感到非常高興，「既然老姊現在手上已有四大賽以及年終賽冠軍，那麼接下來的目標就是2016年巴西里約奧運金牌了！」
謝子龍又說，謝淑薇目前已獲得華航一年22場比賽的來回機票贊助，和台啤談的贊助合約則尚未談妥。希望能藉由這次奪得絕佳成績的加持，儘快敲定簽約，讓她更能無後之憂的在全世界為台灣征戰。
