桃園黃色小鴨原本周一上午5點消氣，結果突然自己消氣，工程人員表示，疑似現場風勢太大，不斷搖動黃色小鴨，造成把空氣充進小鴨體內的鼓風機管線吹落，因此小鴨突然消氣。工程人員表示，初步判定是管線脫落或是阻塞，但是否黃色小鴨本體有破洞或者其他原因還得等到明天再做調查。

現場民眾說，晚上約9點50分時，小鴨突然「消風」，突然逐漸變扁，嚇了一大跳。文化局則說，「明天照常5點進行黃色小鴨游進陂塘的工作，但還是要視現場風勢而定。」
