雲林縣背崙國小出的「雞脫光光，招待客人」試題，在縣議會提出質詢批判的縣議員李建昇，今天在縣議會繼續提出質詢，強調連日來，他並稱當時沒有說要懲處出題老師，在網路遭到惡意攻訐，要求縣長蘇治芬表達態度。蘇治芬答詢說，是她下令要懲處出題老師，她以縣長及母親的立場，認為「題目出的不好，就是不好。」她會要求教育處培養老師擇文的能力。

今年4月某夜，台中市海線鐵路段有民眾被區間車撞擊傷重，救護車無法進入狹窄的鐵軌區，鐵路警察局警員王正邦頂著風雨，背著渾身是血傷患，徒步走了1.5公里渣石鐵軌路，並攀牆將傷患送醫，雖到院前不治，但王員仍堅定地說：「盡力了，算是做功德！」

警政署4日頒獎表揚王正邦等績優交通警察77人及交通義警34人。署長王卓鈞表示，嚴正交通執法是將來施政重點，去年交通事故死亡人數為2040人，已較往年平均大幅下降8％。除取締酒駕、違規，交警也強調為民服務，昨被表揚者，都是稱職詮釋人民保母的真諦。

鐵警局大甲派出所警員王正邦，4月份2度背著誤闖軌道被火車撞擊的傷患，因平交道之外的鐵軌區，救護車無法進入，他踩著凹凸不平的石礫小徑，將傷患背到鐵軌外的圍牆，與救護員合力攀牆把傷患送醫。

「被火車撞，通常很難生還，但只要盡速就醫，就可能發生奇蹟！」2次背傷患就醫，王正邦渾身血水，陪家屬在醫院等待急救，適時安撫家屬悲慟的情緒。他說，一般人對交警的印象都是取締違規，鐵路違規案件較少，除零星的火車性騷擾刑案，為民服務是工作重點。

另外，新北市警員張建豪5月時逮捕酒駕撞死台大醫院曾姓女醫師後逃逸的詹姓嫌犯，因詹矢口否認肇事，但張積極調閱監視器並於現場仔細蒐證，讓詹嫌難逃法網。

國道警察小隊長陳科宏則在6月時，偵辦大貨車駕駛在中山高撞擊孕婦女駕駛逃逸案，該孕婦送醫時一度沒生命跡象，在醫院救活，昏迷指數3的情況下，緊急引產胎中嬰兒。陳員隨後也透過收費站監視器和關鍵證人指認，最終將逃逸者繩之以法。
