「2013秋季上海國際食品展」，13日至15日將在大陸上海新國際博覽中心登場，嘉義縣政府將帶領轄內優質農特產品業者參加。縣府下午2點召開記者會指出，這次共有9家業者參展，包括嘉義縣農會、梅山鄉農會、東石雜糧生產合作社、盈全國際開發有限公司、東石魚水產有限公司、實味企業股份有限公司、鼎旺鑫豐有限公司、華毅蜂業有限公司、壽生農特產品生產合作社。參展產品有阿里山高山茶、花生、穀類、黑糖、蜂蜜、漁產品、精選蔬果與加工品等。

【陳世河／台中報導】下星期六才開幕的新社花海節未演先轟動，昨天和今天兩天假日，已經吸引大批賞花民眾前養，轄區東興派出所所長劉國富表示，估計已經有超過3000人搶先再開目前來賞花。美中不足的是，現場除市政府的花毯節展場已完工八成，呈現出花朵萬紫千紅豔麗外，農委會種苗繁殖場的波斯菊、向日葵等大花海區，都還沒開花，只有綠油油的草地，不少民眾失望的說，怎麼會這樣，去年這時來已經好漂亮，張小姐說：「每年都會提前來看花海，怕塞車今天提早來，花卻都還沒開有點失望」。
