【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】流亡美國的中國盲人維權人士陳光誠的哥哥陳光福及母親王金香，在今早抵達美國紐約。陳光誠因有事在身，不在紐約，由妻子袁偉靜和子女前往接機。陳光福在機場說，現在仍有很多人需要幫助，希望光誠在美國多為弱勢群體發聲。

陳光福還調侃說，這次到美國，就是想看看中國人權是不是真的如官方所說，「比美國好5倍」。陳光誠去年4月，從山東家鄉臨沂東師古村逃離中共的軟禁後，輾轉到了美國，現在身在紐約，先前宣佈加入美國3個機構擔任研究學者。這將是陳光誠的母親及兄長時隔一年多後，首次與陳光誠見面。

　　2013年11月9日（星期六）晚上7：30，「埔里Butterfly交響樂團創團音樂會－蝴蝶新世界音樂會」，於南投縣政府文化局演藝廳演出，文化局歡迎大家蒞臨欣賞。

　　921地震之後，謝東昇與劉妙紋夫婦等幾位老師先後來到埔里，開啟了埔里孩童學習管弦樂的風潮。如今，管弦樂團成為各級學校的重要社團。2012年9月，在紙教堂兒童合唱團團長陳致平老師等老師的通力合作下，推出?三隻毛蟲闖天下?兒童音樂劇，以管弦樂團伴奏合唱團演出。於是，「埔里Butterfly交響樂團」成形，想要厚植埔里音樂環境的沃土，讓高中以上的音樂種子，有專業養成的機會，讓優秀的音樂家願意進來授業。

　　樂團集結了專業的音樂家及具天份的新秀、見習團員，樂團營運，需要社會力量的支持與鼓勵。初期除了企業的贊助，埔里鎮民的認同以及小額捐款，更是樂團持續成長的關鍵。中期以自我經營為主，企業及個人贊助為輔。樂團經營以社會企業的理念出發，一方面培養人才，一方面參與公共事務相關的義演，支援各級學校的樂團紮根等等。
