| 海燕重創菲律賓 國軍待命配合救援

【王炯華／台北報導】強颱「海燕」造成菲律賓重大傷亡，政府考慮進行人道救援，國防部軍事發言人羅紹和下午表示，國軍將配合政府政策及國家安全會議指導，配合辦理人道救援。
至於是否會派遣C-130運輸機載運救援物資前往菲律賓，國防部官員表示，目前外交部也正在由駐外單位與當地國政府進行協調，因此，截至目前為止，還僅限在於聯繫階段，只要政府策決定。
官員表示，國軍C-130運輸機在南亞海嘯時，也曾前往提供物資救援，因此技術上是不成問題，但還要看菲國政府是否需要。另外，由於民間醫療團隊向來都會在第一時間前往，因此國防部不排除也會派遣軍醫或是榮民總醫院具有國際醫療執照的醫師前往協助人道救援。

| 「就是愛航海王」 少年偷超商點數貼紙遭逮

【陳偉周／基隆報導】基隆市復興路上1間便利超商，日前下午5時許，店員發現300張航海王活動貼紙不翼而飛，調閱監視器後發現1名少年涉嫌重大，報警後警方通知他到案說明。
警方調查表示，行竊的17歲廖姓少年，當天趁超商店員正在卸貨，看到餐桌上有2大張航海王點數貼紙，廖男稱「以為沒人要，加上自己非常喜愛航海王！」才心生歹念，擅自拿回家收藏。訊後警方依侵占罪函送廖男。

| 真的很「新鮮」 蠑螈在沙拉裡翻滾

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】英國一名29歲女子伍德(Katharine Wood)表示，日前她花了2.5英鎊(約新台幣118元)在當地一間超市買了一盒沙拉，並將沙拉當作她的午餐。不過她吃到一半，竟發現一隻爬蟲類在菜裡翻來滾去。
伍德說，當時她已經吃了5口沙拉，看到爬蟲類後，馬上大叫，隨後立刻跑到廁所漱口。同事們也前來觀看，看到沙拉裡有隻爬蟲類，都感到不可思議，伍德說：「這真得很噁心，我當下超想吐。」
伍德也立刻將沙拉拍照，專家鑑定後指出，沙拉裡的爬蟲類是蠑螈。而伍德也向超市反應，超市向伍德道歉，並送上25英鎊(約新台幣1200元)禮券做為賠償。
