【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】超強颱風海燕日前橫掃菲律賓，但今日傳出有災民為了搶糧倉，有8人被壓死。

當地媒體報導指出，有一處重災區的災民不顧警方指揮，直接闖入糧倉搶米，警察以及士兵束手無策，只好任由他們搶掠，超過10萬袋、每包重50公斤的大米被搶走。期間糧倉有一面牆倒塌，當場壓死8個人。當地官員表示，區內還有其他糧倉，不過出於安全原因，拒絕透露地點。

目前菲國政府統計的官方死傷數字，為死者1833人，傷者2623人，84人失蹤。
