政府發行公益彩券至今（2013）年9月底累積盈餘，已超過新台幣2,803億元。

財政部次長吳當傑指出，政府多年來積極推動健全公益彩券產業計畫，對促進弱勢族群就業機會有顯著貢獻，也讓民眾了解到，購買公益彩券不只有機會中獎，也是在做公益。

台彩公司董事長薛香川表示，提升公益彩券形象，增加弱勢彩券經銷商收入，並創造更多政府公益彩券盈餘是台彩公司經營公益彩券努力的目標，台彩公司和台彩母公司中國信託銀行從2007年接手公益彩券業務以來，在主管機關大力支持下，彩券銷售年年創新高，不僅累積公益彩券盈餘，也鼓勵高額中獎人捐款，截至今年10月底彩券高額中獎人捐款達28.4億元。

另外，中信銀每年提供20億8,680萬元回饋金，累積七年提供超過146億元給政府，照顧更多弱勢族群。

（軍聞社記者陳建興臺北十一日電）明天是國父148周年誕辰紀念日，為緬懷國父建國偉大行誼及崇高人格，國父紀念館特別舉辦「國父誕辰日，相招來致敬」活動，安排「國父分身」與民眾互動拍照、國父生日卡簽名及免費健康檢查等，讓民眾在別具意義的互動中，對國父為國犧牲奉獻精神，表達追思緬懷之意。

　文化部所屬國父紀念館指出，預約參加首日行禮致敬的團體相當踴躍，第一個單位將由中山學術文化基金會董事長許水德率「紀念孫中山：華人文化與當代社會發展」學術研討會專家學者一行，向國父致上最高敬意。
