現代人通常擁有多台數位裝置，要怎麼有效管理數位資料成為一種難題，也造就 NAS 產品逐漸從商用走向家庭化。WD（Western Digital Corp.）今日推出 4-Bay 的 My Cloud EX4 NAS 裝置，使用自家的 WD Red 系列硬碟，推出 8TB、12TB、16TB 三種容量，建議售價分別為 28,000 元、33,000 元與 45,000 元；支援 Windpws 與 Mac 作業系統並提供 2 年原廠保固。
My Cloud EX4 採用全金屬機身，機身質感與散熱效果比傳統塑膠材質更優異；正面有一組 LCD 螢幕，能顯示即時資訊或是硬碟 ip 位置。機身後方擁有兩組 USB 3.0 連接埠，而電源接孔與 RJ45 有線網路孔也設計兩組連接埠，確保其中一組故障時還有另一組作為備援使用。
