| 勇婦搏蛇 見蛇長150公分驚叫：「阿娘喂」

【李卉婷／屏東報導】恆春鎮德和里一處民宅，屋主蔡姓婦人今打掃屋子時，驚見一條蛇在屋內溜竄，蔡婦自行與蛇搏鬥約30分鐘後，眼見蛇就溜進廢棄的冷氣中，心中害怕蛇會從高處一躍而下，打消繼續搏鬥念頭，在鄰居勸說下，向消防隊求援，消防趕到現場後花了約90分鐘時間將長約150公分蛇拉出，這時蔡婦仿佛回神般尖叫：「阿娘喂！這麼大隻。」
恆春消防分隊在今下午約2時接獲民眾報案，趕到現場後，先破壞已經故障的冷氣，再用電動切刀將冷氣切開破壞，花了近90分鐘將長約150公分蛇拉出，確定為無毒南蛇。蔡婦表示，因為屋內後方是草地，經常有蛇出沒，還曾發生過與眼鏡蛇相處同一個屋簷下近1個月，最後守株待兔，在屋子後方廚房自行將眼鏡蛇打死。

| 婦人沼澤掘牡蠣 挖出一整箱金幣

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】印尼班達亞齊省一名婦人在沼澤挖掘牡蠣，沒想到居然挖到寶，發現一個裝滿金幣的古老箱子，現在附近居民紛紛湧到沼澤「淘金」。
該名婦人在Gampong Pande村的一個沼澤挖牡蠣，但卻挖出長滿蠔殼的古老箱子，箱子內裝著1200至1600個金幣。專家估計，這個寶箱應該收藏在一個古墓內，應該是因為2004年南亞海嘯時古墓被沖毁，寶箱才會埋在沼澤中。
沼澤埋有金幣消息傳出後，數百人立即湧來尋金。有幸運兒掘到金幣，便以每個40英鎊(約台幣1899元)轉賣給黃金商人。
