喘不過氣要命　40歲抽菸者當心

【林明佳／台北報導】今天是世界慢性阻塞性肺病日，台灣胸腔暨重症加護醫學會秘書長彭殿王公布今年學會調查結果，發現近7成民眾不知道什麼是慢性阻塞性肺病(Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease，簡稱COPD)，更有24%民眾已出現呼吸不適症狀，卻沒就醫檢查。若罹COPD卻疏於治療，肺功能會快速惡化導致呼吸衰竭甚至死亡，提醒若有慢性咳嗽、有痰、易喘，尤其是40歲以上且有抽菸者，更是危險族群，應就醫接受肺功能檢測。

若長期咳嗽、超過3個月，咳嗽有痰、會喘等，最好就醫檢查。設計畫面／資料照片
