| 台北商業技術學院 11/20起公告為禁菸人行道

為了保障大專院校師生，進出校園時，免受二手菸害，台北市衛生局公告，全國第3個大專院校「國立台北商業技術學院」週邊人行道，從十一月二十號開始禁菸，一旦有民眾在禁菸人行道吸菸，將依照菸害防制法，開罰兩千元至一萬元不等罰鍰。(林麗玉報導)
台北市衛生局健康管理處長林莉茹說，臺北市衛生局繼今年3月1日、8月1日，公告實踐大學、國立臺北科技大學無菸人行道後，「國立臺北商業技術學院」也主動自主管理，營造2個校門口周邊人行道為無菸人行道，衛生局公告，從11月20日起禁止民眾在校門口週邊人行道吸菸，而這也是全國大專院校，第3條無菸人行道。處長林莉茹說，儘管菸害防制法已經規範大多數室內公共場所禁止吸菸，不過並沒有將人行道等戶外空間，列為禁菸場所，因此如果有民眾在校門口周邊人行道吸菸，師生進出學校時極易遭受二手菸害，影響健康，這次衛生局結合國立臺北商業技術學院、市府相關局處及社區資源，優先推動2個校門口周邊人行道為無菸人行道，並依據菸害防制法第15條第1項第13款規定，公告自102年11月20日起禁止吸菸，違規吸菸民眾，依據同法第31條第1項規定，可處新臺幣2千元至1萬元罰鍰。處長林莉茹說，另外為了營造高中職以下學校周邊人行道無菸環境，衛生局與教育局共同合作，去年4月30日首創全國推動健康國小無菸人行道，今年已經推廣至16所高中職以下學校。目前臺北市一共有20所學校周邊設立無菸人行道（含17所高中職以下學校、3所大專院校），未來希望能有更多學校響應支持，共同加入建置無菸人行道行列。
