| 巴勒斯坦首次UN投票 現場響起掌聲

【簡嘉宏／綜合外電報導】巴勒斯坦駐聯合國代表曼蘇爾（Riyad Mansour）18日在聯合國大會選舉海牙國際法庭法官時，投下首張聯合國選票，現場的各國代表熱烈鼓掌以示恭賀。
巴勒斯坦去年在聯合國的身份從「觀察員實體」（entity）晉升為與教廷同等地位的「觀察員國」（non-state member），雖然對聯合國的決議案仍無法享有表決權；但在選舉國際法庭法官時可享有投票權。
曼蘇爾會後對記者表示，投下這一票具有象徵意義，對於巴勒斯坦人民爭取聯合國地位的漫漫歷史中，更屬特別時刻，因為「反映了國際上對巴勒斯坦成為聯合國正式會員國的殷殷期許」。

| 玉山降雪最深積4公分 合歡山再下冰霰

【高堂堯／南投報導】玉山昨晚間7點45分降下今年秋天轉冬後第一場雪，持續至晚間9點半，今天凌晨又有短暫降雪，範圍自玉山山頂至排雲山莊，積雪最深達4公分；排雲山莊人員指出，目前山頂積雪約2.5公分，排雲山莊積雪已消融，至山頂沿途有結冰情形，昨天入住的92名預計攻頂的登山客，意外被降雪打亂計畫，其中有三隊14人因缺乏雪地裝備，已被玉管處勸退下山。
合歡山繼昨天下午下了幾分鐘冰霰，松雪樓人員指出，今天清晨7點左右又下了約30秒冰霰，不過氣溫不夠低，隨即轉為雨水。
