【徐彩媚／嘉義報導】102年全國協會盃拔河運動錦標賽暨2014年世界盃國手選拔賽，連續2天在嘉義市港坪運動公園體育館舉行，總計有108隊報名，約1200位選手參賽。郭書瑤「瑤瑤」以《志氣》描寫景美女中拔河故事，甫獲金馬新人獎。全國拔河賽，景美女中果然不負眾望，今天又勇奪高中女子組和公開女子組540公斤冠軍。
 
以景美女中畢業班為基本班底的中華女子拔河隊，完成了世界運動會三連霸、連續四屆世錦賽封后的絕佳戰績，而中華女子拔河隊的拚搏精神，更燃起國人對拔河運動的關注。因此，這次比賽最大亮點就是公開女子組540公斤量級冠軍爭奪戰，以2012蘇格蘭伯斯世錦賽、2013哥倫比亞卡利世運會奪金班底台灣師大、景美女中聯隊，將於該量級接受嘉義大學、雲集八方（台灣體大為主）等2隊的強力挑戰，最終優勝者將代表台灣參加明年在愛爾蘭舉行的世界拔河錦標賽。
 
另外，公開男子組共分成640公斤、600公斤、560公斤及U23男、青少男等五個級別，其中560公斤級組競爭最為激烈，包括桃縣八德國體大俱樂部、台中市僑泰與亞大、鼎盛開發、台北市立大學等4隊捉對廝殺，爭取世界錦標賽的國手資格。
