標題[食記] 峇里島 Vincent's爵士餐廳

圖文版：http://lovecc6.pixnet.net/blog/post/321310772 消費時間：2013/9 Amankila提供免費接駁至十分鐘車程的Candidasa， Candidasa是個在20年前因過度開發而失去沙灘的小鎮， 雖然靠海，但少了觀光資源，現在只是個沒落地區， 附近的知名飯店除了Amankila就是Alila Manggis。 Vincent's位在鎮上的大馬路旁， 周邊有數間餐廳和感覺很當地的商店， Vincent's主打每月單週的星期四有爵士樂演出， 有興趣的建議先訂位，據說爵士之夜總是爆滿， 當然，餐點依然是觀光客最推薦的主因。 餐廳內分為用餐區和lounge區， 一進大門便是吧台和沙發， 放著輕鬆慵懶的七八零年代爵士樂曲， 餐廳開到深夜，或許是晚上想小酌的好地方。 更往後走則是多數人會想待的戶外座位， 戶外區以低矮的樹叢將座位隔開， 座位間距開闊，也有涼亭式的包廂座位。 餐點有西式與峇里式料理，既然都到峇里島就不要點西式， 價位中等，但與Amankila相比我只能說：太便宜了！ 我們點了兩瓶水、一湯、一開胃菜、兩主餐、一甜點， 這樣吃下來台幣一千有找，滋味不差，服務也好。 點完餐後送上的熱麵包，麵包內裡是我喜歡的鬆軟口感， 一旁附上一人一碟奶油塗免錢，麵包不夠可以再續。 【Tahu Isi】 以豆腐和蟹肉混合捏成並酥炸的開胃菜， 淋上些許甜辣醬搭配，蟹味有出來， 整體吃起來有點類似傳統的炸豆腐。 【Soup Udang】 酸辣蝦湯配料好豐富，雖然只放小番茄和蝦仁， 但蝦仁放好多，我想至少有吃到七八顆以上， 酸辣口感與泰式的酸辣蝦湯頗相似，很值得的一道。 【Babi Kecap】 以豬肉為主食的一道料理，口味很台， 把豬肉片和四季豆、花椰菜、胡蘿蔔和玉米筍一起炒， 調味使用的應該是峇里島的甜醬油和辣椒， 吃起來鹹中帶點小辣，蠻下飯的。 【Udang Pelalah】 老公的主菜是以辣醬拌炒的蝦料理， 一旁附上調味過的長豆和另外裝的炸薯條， 我也吃了一口，一樣是好合台灣人口味的菜色。 【Dadar Gulung】 最後是來到峇里島我最愛的印尼甜點綠椰絲捲， 外皮以香蘭葉染成綠色，麵皮類似可麗餅的軟Q口感， 內捲上拌炒過的椰絲與椰糖，很自然的甜，充滿椰香。 地址：Jl Raya Candidasa, Candidasa 電話：(+62)0363-41368 營業時間：10:30~23:30 http://vincentsbali.com -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 49.158.158.162

While sales of high-tech military hardware are soaring, the world’s estimated $7.4 billion market for small arms-rifles and handguns-remains flat, largely immune to innovation, yet fought over by a growing number of increasingly desperate competitors. The Geneva-based Small Arms Survey reported in its 2004 survey that the world market is in decline. Romanian gun maker Romanian recently began making washing and sewing machines. Izhmash, the Russian company that made the Kalashnikov, now sells machine tools. The world’s leading handgun company, Smith & Wesson, last year launched a decidedly feminine line of bedding featuring pillows with cowgirl patterns on them. It lasted only a few months.

Kalashnikov makes nothing from his gun design. The Soviet Union had licensed more than a dozen countries to manufacture his weapons. After 1991 post-communist middlemen began selling stock out of old Soviet armories, and today there are an estimated 100 million AK-47s in circulation. The rifle is featured on the flags of Mozambique and numerous jihadist groups. Knockoffs are everywhere; General Kalashnikov and Izhmash accused the United States this summer of buying pirate AK-47s for the Iraqi police force. And authentic AK-47s remain dirt cheap. “Militarily, the guys who are buying are poor and they’re insurgents and they’re just going to buy AK-47s,” says Old Dominion University professor and small-arms expert Aaron Karp. “They’d be foolish not to.”

Kalashnikov knows it’s too late to re-establish control over his gun designs, so he has moved on. In 2003, he received a 33% stake in the MMI Co. in Germany, which turns out the Kalashnikov umbrellas, watches, penknives, and gold tees. Kalashnikov says he has not seen “a single kopeck” [the Russian monetary unit below the ruble, similar to the penny below the dollar-Editor]. MMI says he will, once the start-up costs are paid, if the line sells.
