【於慶中／綜合外電報導】俄羅斯總統普丁(Vladimir Putin)獲得英國《泰晤士報》選為「國際年度風雲人物」(International Person of the Year)，盛讚他今年在敍利亞和談上扮要重要角色，同時成功拉攏烏克蘭，並向美國中央情報局「叛諜」史諾登(Edward Snowden)提供臨時政治庇護，將俄羅斯帶上國際舞台。

《泰晤士報》指普丁在美國總統歐巴馬(Barack Obama)因是否出兵敍利亞而猶豫不決時，挺身出面協調，挽回美英兩國面子，確立他在中東的關鍵地位。即使這兩天發生恐怖襲擊，也顯示他還無法控制的高加索的恐怖份子，都不會損害他的名聲，反而更有利於普丁取得國內外支持，在索契冬季奧運會前大力打擊該區的伊斯蘭激進份子。

不過，《泰晤士報》估計，一旦索契冬季奧運會結束後，普丁明年將更專注處理國內政經問題，反而不容易顧及國際事務。
