珠算列入聯合國非物質文化遺產

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】聯合國教科文組織通過，將中國珠算列入人類非物質文化遺產(Intangible Cultural Heritage)名錄。

珠算是一套歷史悠久、用算盤進行數學計算的方法。通過挪動杆上的珠子，算術者可以實現加法、減法、乘法、除法、指數、開根號以及其他很多複雜的方程式計算。珠算成為中國傳統文化的重要象徵。
