（軍聞社記者林宜慶臺北廿八日電）國人愛心援菲，總統馬英九先生特別在其險書（facebook）肯定海軍中和軍艦化身「愛與和平」大使，運送援助物資；強調此舉展現中華民國人民正直與善良的特質，不僅發揮我國「人道援助者」角色，更希望臺灣人民的大愛，超越國界、持續送暖，進一步帶給災民平靜與重生的力量。

　海軍中和號登陸艦日前啟航，由康定號巡防艦護航，載運賑災物資前往菲國。馬總統在臉書上表示，中和艦代表中華民國人民正直與善良特質，要航行四天才能抵達宿霧港協助賑災。截至21日，政府結合民間團體捐款與物資達新臺幣1億9千2百萬元，在救災國家中，動作最快、次數也是最多。

　看到民眾超越國界持續送暖，馬總統除感欣慰，更為中華民國屢屢發揮人道援助者角色深感光榮；同時也誠心謝謝慷慨解囊的民眾，希望中華民國人民的愛心，可以帶給災民平靜與重生力量。

　馬總統並舉《菲律賓星報》十四日報導菲律賓總統府秘書長艾曼德拉斯談話「多數外國賑災物資尚未抵菲，只有來自臺灣的物資可準備發送」為例，強調臺灣愛心已獲國際肯定。
