義參院表決再即 貝魯斯柯尼力圖保席次

義大利前總理貝魯斯柯尼(Silvio Berlusconi)參議員席次保衛戰進入最後階段。他在25日致函參議院同僚，敦促他們不要取消他的參議員資格。貝魯斯柯尼聲稱，新的事證顯示，他並未涉及稅務詐欺。

貝魯斯柯尼因涉稅務詐欺被法院裁定有罪，判刑4年，並褫奪公權2年。由於刑期超過2年，根據反貪汙法，參議院院會將在27日投票，決定是否把貝魯斯柯尼逐出參議院。

儘管罪名刑期已遭最高法院定讞，貝魯斯柯尼仍在25日寫信給參議院同僚，聲稱根據12名證人的新證詞和從香港獲得的1萬5千多頁文件，可以證明他並未犯下稅務詐欺。

貝魯斯柯尼表示，義大利的民主前途將取決於參議院這次表決。
