隨著社會風氣的開放，很多事情已不能再用傳統的思維來看待跟探討。日前南韓一項民調針對「與結婚對象婚前發生性關係是必需的」做出提問，結果低於30%的男性受訪者贊同，卻有近60%女性受訪者點頭，令人跌破眼鏡。
南韓《朝鮮日報》報導，南韓婚姻媒介公司22日至27日訪問各277名適婚男女發現，72.2%受訪的男性認為，婚前性行為沒這個必要，但57%的女性則同意婚前嘗禁果是必需的，對比鮮明。
至於「與結婚對象必須在婚前發生性關係的理由是什麼？」，支持婚前性行為有必要的受訪者中，64.7%的男性和69.7%的女性回答，因為「性滿足對夫妻生活很重要」。
另有27.6%的未婚男性和17%的女性表示「為減少不確定因素」，而只有7.7%的未婚男性和13.3%的女性認為「有助於瞭解性格等」。
上述調查結果顯示，在處理兩性關係方面，南韓女性的主導傾向有增強的趨勢，而獨立且充滿自信的女性，對於性關係毫不猶豫。
