抗議退休年齡延後 英消防隊員將罷工

不滿政府計畫延後退休年齡，英國消防隊員工會開會通過將罷工。

英國政府希望消防隊員的退休年齡延到六十歲以後。消防隊員相當不滿。工會秘書長說，消防工作是個體力活，需要極大的體力，也需要矯健的身手，讓六十歲的老人救火，不只會危害消防隊員的安全，更會危害大眾的安全。

消防隊員工會昨天開會，有七成八的隊員贊成罷工。工會還沒決定罷工日期。

倫敦消防局長說，一旦罷工，碰上失火，民眾只能自救。他說，民眾提高警覺，避免失火是最好的對策。
