魁北克小鎮舉行追悼會 紀念火車爆炸案罹難者

加拿大「魁北克」小鎮「梅岡蒂克湖市」(當地時間)周末舉行追悼會，紀念這個月初，因為一列油罐車出軌爆炸而罹難的47名小鎮居民。

上千人將小鎮教堂擠得水洩不通，加拿大總理「哈伯」、魁北克省長及許多政府官員都參加了追悼儀式，教堂外架設了兩台巨大的電視螢幕，數百人站在街頭，觀看電視螢幕，同步參與哀悼。

這起意外發生在這個月6號，一列原本停在「梅岡蒂克湖市」郊外山坡的油罐火車因為煞車鬆脫，造成火車俯衝出軌，撞毀小鎮市中心，造成多人傷亡。目前相關調查仍在進行。周末的追思禮拜是自從意外發生後，首次公開紀念儀式。

加拿大政府在這起事故後，已加強鐵路運輸管理。加拿大運輸部也表示，以後載運危險物質的火車依定要有兩名駕駛，而且不能任由火車無人看管。
