高個子女生 罹癌風險高

刊載在美國癌症流行病學期刊上的一篇研究報告指出，身高較高的女性，罹患許多癌症的風險，比矮個子的女生來得高。

這項研究以14萬5000名50歲到79歲的停經後女人為研究對象，發現身高每增加10公分，罹患癌症的風險就增加13%。

帶領這項研究的卡巴特說：「癌症與生長有關，因此荷爾蒙和其他影響身高的生長因子，也許也會影響癌症風險，這似乎說得通。」

這項研究並未提出，罹癌風險開始增加的身高是多少。（法新社）
