邁阿密禁藥風雲首位被處罰的，就是最大咖的一個，Ryan Braun今年球季剩餘的球季賽加季後賽，全部遭到禁賽。
Ryan Braun也立即同意這65場禁賽的處分，這樣的禁賽場次，比去年他差點被禁的50場，還多出15場，不過去年Ryan Braun因為尿液取樣有問題，這50場禁賽並沒有被執行。
「我並不完美，我現在也了解自己犯了一些錯誤，願意接受這些事情的所有後果。」Ryan Braun在聲明中表示。
除了Ryan Braun，被捲入邁阿密禁藥風雲的，還有10多名球員，當中也包括Alex Rodriguez。
大聯盟會長Bud Selig在今日宣布了Ryan Braun的禁賽，表示這名外野手違反多項禁藥規定及勞動合約，釀酒人球季最後的65場比賽，被禁賽的Ryan Braun也不得支薪，以850萬美元的年薪折算，Ryan Braun約損失3百萬的收入。
「對於可能對我感到失望的人，我希望能表達歉意，」Ryan Braun說，「我很高興可以把這整個事情拋諸腦後，重新回到我最熱愛的棒球場上。」 (接下一頁)
