警方中橫公路夜間飛車追12公里 逮10名山老鼠

【李陳信得／台中報導】台中市和平警分局會同林務局人員前晚在和平區圍捕一個「山老鼠」盜伐國有珍貴林木集團，十名嫌犯共乘一輛貨車衝過警方第一個攔檢點後，在中橫公路以一百公里的車速飛奔逃逸，警方冒險驅車一路緊追十二公里，七點三十分左右嫌犯車子抵達和平派出所前的攔檢點，當時警方已將道路全部封閉，禁止所有車輛通行，嫌犯車子也被「卡」住動彈不得，只好下車束手就逮。

警方除逮捕十名嫌犯，並在車內起出價值數十萬元五個扁柏樹頭及樹瘤，以及一把M84改造90手槍及43發制式子彈等贓證物。偵訊後依竊盜、違反《森林法》及違反槍砲彈藥管制條例罪嫌移送法辦。
