雖然從農曆年來國內外鋼鐵價格普遍走低，大陸鋼鐵產能過剩，但豐興鋼鐵(2015) 董事長林明儒對下半年看法樂觀，認為鋼鐵業春燕就要來了，已經進入柳暗花明又一村的時期了；豐興股東會通過2.5元現金股利，董事會通過除息交易日為6月27日，現金股利發放日為7月24日。
林明儒表示，國際景氣復甦趨緩，大陸鋼鐵業呈現供過於求的情況，但電弧爐廠受到國際影響較低，今年在提高能源使用效率、產能自給率、增加產品種類及產品附加價值下，將繼續為股東創造最大的利益。
豐興去年各項產品中，棒鋼和盤元實際銷量41萬7537公噸，達成率103.86%，在各項產品中表現最佳，今年銷售目標部分，型鋼45萬公噸、圓鋼39萬公噸、鋼筋72萬公噸，合計156萬公噸，與去年持平。
豐興強調，今年在生產方面，將開發新產品擴大產品組合，生產計畫靈活調度，滿足客戶需求；將積極參與公共工程投標，提高鋼筋市占率，與原料供應商建立長期供貨合約，穩定貨源及品質，提昇服務品質，與經銷商建立良好合作關係，鞏固市場銷售量及市占率。
豐興2012年營收342億元，毛利率8.53%，營業淨利14.21億元，稅前盈餘18.77億元，稅後淨利16.19億元，EPS2.78元，股東會通過配發現金股利2.5元；董事會訂定除息交易日為6月27日，最後過戶日為6月28日，股票於6月29日~7月3日停止過戶，除息基準日為7月3日，現金股利發放日為7月24日。
