自強橋通泰山林口 降低車禍率

新北市連接泰山與林口的重要幹道「自強橋」9日下午通車，可望改善原本視野不佳問題，大幅降低車禍事故。
泰山區自強橋位於泰山自強路與大科路之間，是連接林口及泰山的重要道路。民國71年完工的舊橋，使用已逾三十年。舊橋型呈反向大S型曲線，造成駕駛視線不佳常發生車禍。
市府去年11月編列4685萬元改建，其中交通部新建工程局補助470萬，剩下的經費由市府編列預算。工務局表示，新自強橋長200公尺、寬10公尺，引道長約46公尺，採汽機車混合車道施作。
改建時盡量將道路、橋梁截彎取直改為圓弧狀，視線更加開闊，可減少路段視線死角與交通事故。而原本水泥橋梁改為鋼構，提高乘載重量，也可避免天災造成橋梁損害。
