| 分析師：Sony應退出消費電子產市場

從Walkman、Trinitron電視到PS遊戲機，Sony曾靠消費電子產品聞名全球，但現在賣的所有裝置幾乎都虧錢。如果Sony的消費電子事業不再閃耀，什麼才是Sony的未來？
繼Third Point日前建議Sony分拆娛樂事業，以籌措現金來挽救消費電子事業後，最新提出建言的是Jefferies消費科技分析師高耶爾，但他認為消費電子是Sony的弱點，甚至可說「毫無價值。我們認為，Sony必須退出大部分消費電子產品市場。」
從電池到頭戴式3D顯示器，Sony有數百種硬體產品，但最成功的業務卻是賣保險。Sony去年63%的營業利益來自金融部門；壽險業務十年來營利達9,330億日圓，是Sony最大獲利引擎。
製作蜘蛛人等賣座電影和馬友友等熱門專輯的電影與音樂部門，過去十年也為Sony賺進70億美元。但消費電子部門同時期累計虧損85億美元。
東京一橋大學客座教授山田浩二說：「問題在於Sony董事會仍一心想挽回消費電子事業。」山田警告，管理層的忽視可能很快將開始傷害保險與娛樂事業。
